Democratic Party West Java leader tours Ciamis and Pangandaran

Anton Sukartono Suratto, Chairman of the Democratic Party's West Java branch, conducted a working visit through the Ciamis and Pangandaran regencies via motorcycle from August 27 to 28. The tour aimed to engage directly with citizens and local leaders to hear community aspirations.

In Ciamis, Suratto met with the Vice Regent to discuss regional potential and the party's contributions to local progress. He also interacted with local motorcycle communities and residents without formal protocol.

In Pangandaran, Suratto met with former Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries Susi Pudjiastuti. The discussion focused on regional development and environmental initiatives, specifically aligning with the ‘Gerakan Langit Biru’ (Blue Sky Movement) program. Suratto noted that Pudjiastuti’s existing efforts to encourage students to maintain ocean cleanliness align with the party's environmental goals, opening possibilities for future collaboration.
