Democratic Republic of the Congo initiates security governance digitalization

The Vice-Minister of the Interior, Security, and Decentralization, Eugénie Tshela Kamba, has opened a national workshop in Kinshasa to validate a new strategy and roadmap for digitalizing security governance in territorial management.

The four-day initiative aims to modernize the collection, transmission, and processing of security information. Currently reliant on manual procedures, the proposed reform seeks to enable real-time information sharing from local villages to the highest levels of state government, as well as between citizens and local authorities. The goal is to establish an integrated security governance system through concrete, operational guidelines.
