Democratic Republic of the Congo: New political and infrastructure developments

In the Democratic Republic of the Congo, new political and infrastructural developments are emerging in Lubumbashi and Kinshasa.

In Lubumbashi, the La Dynamique des Femmes Leaders de l’Opposition pour le Changement (DFLOC) officially launched its platform. Led by National Deputy Princesse Dominique Munongo Inamizi, the movement aims to integrate Congolese women into public decision-making through training and autonomy. The group seeks to act as a constructive opposition focused on national development and the strict respect of the Constitution.

Meanwhile, in Kinshasa, Governor Daniel Bumba Lubaki has reported significant progress in urban road infrastructure. Over a two-year period, the administration has launched more than 500 kilometers of road projects, with approximately 160 kilometers already completed. These works, funded by the public treasury, cover numerous avenues across various communes in the capital to improve urban mobility.
