Democratic Republic of the Congo officials conduct regional social and political engagements

Various political and social activities are underway across the Democratic Republic of the Congo. In Kananga, First Lady Denise Nyakeru Tshisekedi has begun a four-day visit to support social welfare initiatives. Her program includes distributing school kits to over 2,000 primary students, engaging in community dialogues with traditional leaders and women's associations, and visiting an orphanage.

In Kenge, Minister of Human Rights Samuel Mbemba Kabuya Tanda held a public meeting to encourage citizens to participate in the proposed national dialogue. He emphasized that the dialogue should be a grassroots process driven by the people to address long-standing instability and peace concerns, rather than a mere confrontation between combatants. He also reminded authorities of their obligation to respect fundamental human rights.

In Mwene-Ditu, National Deputy Joseph Mbaya Kabwe wa Mwadi is engaging with constituents during his parliamentary recess. He has been encouraging citizens to support the President's call for an inclusive national dialogue. Additionally, following reports of technical difficulties at the local RTNC sub-station, Mbaya pledged to advocate for the installation of a new dynamo to ensure the state communication tool functions properly.
