Democrazia Cristiana marks 80th anniversary with exhibitions and political assemblies

The Democrazia Cristiana (DC) is conducting various activities to commemorate the 80th anniversary of its founding. In Lauria, a national photographic exhibition titled ‘50 anni di vita della Dc (1942-1994)’ will be held from October 24 to November 7 at the Agnese Scaldaferri Social Aggregation Center. The exhibition, supported by the Ministry of Culture, aims to preserve the party's historical memory and includes a dedicated space to honor the late leader Giantonio Rossini.

In Spezia, the party held a pre-congress assembly in Carro ahead of its XXI National Congress scheduled for October 24-25 in Rome. Regional commissioner Loriano Isolabella addressed members regarding the party's role in Italy's post-war reconstruction and its upcoming participation in the center-right coalition for the Spezia municipal elections. Isolabella emphasized the importance of historical political models, such as the Fanfani plan, in addressing modern essential needs like housing and public services.
