Den Bosch residents protest return of convicted sex offenders

Protests are escalating in the Maaspoort district of Den Bosch following the return of two convicted sex offenders, Steven van H. and Mattias T. The men were sentenced in June to 502 days in prison, including a suspended sentence, for the abuse of their foster children and a dog.

A local neighborhood collective has been campaigning for weeks to ensure child safety, distributing flyers and hanging banners near schools and shopping centers. Despite the municipality removing banners and posters over the weekend, residents continued to distribute literature to parents on the first day of the new school year.
