DeNA pitcher Vid posts two wins in first two starts as team clinches narrow victory

DeNA’s foreign pitcher Vid made his Japan debut on July 25 against the Chunichi Dragons, delivering five scoreless innings and earning the win. He became the first DeNA foreign pitcher to record two wins in his first two starts, joining a short list of predecessors who won only one of their initial outings.
