Denbigh Town defeats Bala Town 5-2 to mark 200th league win

Denbigh Town secured their 200th Tier 2 league victory with a 5-2 win over Bala Town at Central Park in a Cymru North fixture. The match marked the first test for Denbigh’s new manager, Eddie Maurice-Jones.

Denbigh took an early lead following an own goal by Bala’s Aron Williams in the ninth minute. While Bala managed to reduce the deficit through goals from Nathan Burke and John Owen, Denbigh responded with strikes from Daniel Flanders and Elliott Orton. Ffranc Vaughan-Evans converted a penalty to extend the lead, sealing the victory for the hosts.
