Denderleeuw launches Koffiespoor to promote local entrepreneurship
The local government of Denderleeuw is launching ‘Koffiespoor’, a temporary pop-up initiative scheduled for October 6 and 8, 2026, at the Denderleeuw station. The project aims to highlight gaps in the local commercial landscape and inspire entrepreneurs to establish new businesses in the area.
Based on resident surveys indicating a demand for more high-quality retail and experiences—specifically coffee bars—the station square will be transformed into a temporary coffee bar. During the event, visitors can participate in a survey regarding the local commercial offering via QR codes or in person. The initiative seeks to demonstrate the economic potential of the town center to prospective investors in hospitality and services.
