Denes Pereira announced as 2026 candidate for Brazil's Chamber of Deputies
Denes Pereira, the state president of the Solidariedade party, has been officially named as a candidate for the Chamber of Deputies in the 2026 elections. The announcement was made during a party convention held on August 5 in Goiânia, in conjunction with the PRD.
With approximately 25 years of experience in public administration, Pereira has outlined a legislative agenda focused on daily economic impacts. His primary objectives include reducing the tax burden, particularly through tax reforms that protect small entrepreneurs and their working capital.
Additionally, Pereira intends to advocate for increased support for families of individuals with autism, improved access to diagnosis and treatment, and greater financial autonomy for municipalities to reduce the concentration of funds in Brasília. He also called for increased transparency regarding the application of parliamentary amendments.
