Denis Draguş and Trabzonspor in contract dispute

A contract dispute has emerged between Trabzonspor and Romanian forward Denis Draguş regarding his departure from the club. Although Trabzonspor President Ertuğrul Doğan indicated that the player is not in the club's future plans, negotiations to terminate his contract, which runs until 2028, have reached a stalemate.

Draguş is reportedly requesting the full payment of his remaining two years of salary, estimated at approximately 3 million Euro, to agree to a mutual termination. Trabzonspor management is seeking a lower settlement amount and is unwilling to pay the full sum in a single installment.

If a compromise is not reached, the club may attempt to loan the player to another team. Should a loan or termination fail, Draguş may remain at the club to train but might be unable to receive a license to play in the Turkish Super Lig due to foreign player registration limits.
