Denis Drăguș sidelined for one month following knee injury

Denis Drăguș, a forward for FCSB and the Romanian national team, is expected to be sidelined for at least one month following a knee injury sustained during a match against U Craiova. While FCSB owner Gigi Becali initially suggested the injury was a ligament strain rather than a meniscus or cruciate ligament tear, subsequent medical evaluations at the national team camp confirmed a knee sprain.

The injury impacts Drăguș's availability for upcoming international fixtures. His wife, Vanessa Drăguș, publicly criticized social media users for celebrating the athlete's physical suffering, stating, “Shame! Shame on you! Before anything, we should be humans.”
