Denis Kozhukhin to open Bösendorfer Piano Series in Amsterdam

Pianist Denis Kozhukhin will open the eighth season of the Bösendorfer Piano Series at the Waalse Kerk in Amsterdam on Thursday, September 10. Kozhukhin, a winner of the 2010 Queen Elisabeth Competition, will perform a program featuring works by Haydn and Brahms, followed by Mussorgsky’s ‘Pictures at an Exhibition’ after the intermission.

Kozhukhin is an established international performer who has collaborated with major orchestras including the Chicago, London, and San Francisco symphonies, as well as the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra. He has also performed at renowned festivals such as Verbier and the BBC Proms.
