Denis Ćorić appointed head coach of FK Sutjeska

Denis Ćorić has been appointed as the new head coach of FK Sutjeska, the reigning Montenegrin champions, following a period of significant instability. The club has faced a difficult start to the season, suffering seven consecutive losses in domestic and European competitions.

The appointment comes amidst a major restructuring of the club's leadership. The Municipality of Nikšić, the club's sole owner, announced plans to replace the entire management structure, including the Assembly and the Board of Directors. This follows the resignation of President Miomir Bakrač and a complete overhaul of the administration after a 1-4 home loss to Otrant.

There has been public debate regarding the legitimacy of the new appointment, as the club has been without a president for 12 days and the current Board of Directors reportedly lacks support from the founder. Amidst these administrative questions, Ćorić is set to make his debut on the sidelines in an upcoming match against Jezero.
