Denis Ćorić struck in head during Sutjeska vs. Petrovac match

Denis Ćorić, the head of the coaching staff for FK Sutjeska, was struck in the head by a thrown object during a match against FK Petrovac in the Montenegrin First League. The incident occurred in the 54th minute following a player's dismissal, which led to a confrontation on the pitch and objects being thrown from the stands.

Following the incident, the stands were emptied, and the match eventually resumed in front of empty seats, ending in a 0-0 draw.

Ćorić released a statement expressing gratitude for the support received and thanking the medical staff and the Nikšić Health Center for their assistance. He stated that he is feeling much better and noted that the actions of individuals would not diminish his respect for Montenegrin football, FK Petrovac, or the country. He called for such incidents to never be repeated and emphasized the need for unity to improve the promotion of the sport.
