Denise Stoklos stages Dalton Trevisan’s work in Uberlândia theater production

The play “Dalton Trevisan, que tinha um cachorro” will be performed at the Teatro Municipal de Uberlândia on 27 August 2026 at 20:00. Actress Denise Stoklos leads the production, which is directed by Alessandra Maestrini and adapts the short‑story writer Dalton Trevisan’s text into a theatrical experience.

The performance is part of the Projeto Uberlândia na Rota das Culturas, supported by Minas Gerais’ state cultural‑incentive law, the federal Lei Rouanet, and sponsors including Algar and Sistema Martins, with backing from the governments of Minas Gerais and Brazil. The staging uses minimal set design, three distinct readings of the same narrative, and focuses on themes of love, loss, memory and the persistence of human relationships.
