Denish Das hits fastest century to lead Barpeta Braves to victory

In the Assam Premier League (APL) 2026, the Barpeta Braves secured a 12-run victory over the Jorhat Stallions at the Assam Cricket Association Stadium in Guwahati. Denish Das delivered a standout performance, scoring the tournament’s fastest century by reaching 100 runs in just 40 balls. He finished with 105 runs off 42 deliveries, including ten sixes. Hrishikesh Das contributed 53 runs to help the Braves reach a total of 196/7.

The Jorhat Stallions attempted a chase led by Swarupam Purkayastha (56) and Rajjak Uddin Ahmed (39), but they were restricted to 184/6. Bikiran Das led the Braves' bowling with figures of 2/24.

In a separate APL 2026 match, the Jorhat Stallions achieved a 3-wicket win against the Tezpur Titans. After restricting the Titans to 156/8, the Stallions chased the target in 18.5 overs, driven by Rajveer Singh’s 50 and Dyutimoy Nath’s 35.
