Denisse González undergoes treatment for thrombocytopenia

Denisse González, a former participant of the reality show Gran Hermano, is undergoing medical treatment for thrombocytopenia, a condition characterized by a low platelet count. After a recent emergency hospitalization due to a severe drop in platelets, she is now managing her condition through outpatient care.

González described the experience of hospitalization as being like a “horror movie” due to the frequent blood draws and needle use. She noted that her platelet levels reached a critical low of 1,000 during her most recent medical crisis.

Her current treatment involves periodic check-ups and abdominal injections. She reported significant side effects from the prescribed corticosteroids and globulins, including intense headaches and widespread body pain, which she described as a physical transformation.
