Deniz Baysal and Barış Yurtçu divorce after seven years

Turkish actress Deniz Baysal and singer Barış Yurtçu have officially divorced following a court hearing that lasted approximately 10 minutes. The couple, who married in Çeşme in 2019 after beginning their relationship in 2016, ended their seven-year marriage in a single session.

Reports indicate that Baysal had filed for divorce in July, citing fundamental breakdown of the marriage and differences in opinion. While the proceedings were initially reported as contested, the divorce was finalized quickly. Following the announcement, Baysal removed the surname 'Yurtçu' from her social media profiles and deleted photos featuring her former husband.

Barış Yurtçu’s father, Ufuk Yurtçu, confirmed the news on social media, stating that Barış Yurtçu had divorced Deniz Baysal in a single session. Although rumors regarding the reasons for the split circulated online, legal representatives for Yurtçu have denied allegations of infidelity.
