Deniz Yıldızı Apartments technical inspections expected to finish in one month

Technical inspections of the Deniz Yıldızı Apartments are expected to be completed within one month. A local association has called on the Vakıflar İdaresi to provide a concrete implementation schedule for the building's reinforcement process.

New studies are underway to collect missing technical data, evaluate the current state of the buildings, and determine reinforcement costs. These efforts are being conducted with the authorization of the Vakıflar İdaresi, the contribution of academics appointed by Eastern Mediterranean University (DAÜ), and under a protocol signed between Famagusta Municipality and DAÜ.

Safety warnings have been issued to residents, emphasizing the importance of following official guidance to ensure security until technical studies are finalized. Additionally, elevators may be temporarily closed for maintenance and project preparation depending on the progress of work in each block.
