Denizli and Muğla authorities search for missing Alzheimer's patients
Search and rescue operations are underway in Turkey for two Alzheimer's patients who have gone missing.
In the Sarayköy district of Denizli, 67-year-old Hasan Caylak disappeared after leaving his home in the Yeşilyurt neighborhood. The Gendarmerie, AFAD, AKUT Denizli, and various non-governmental organizations have launched an intensive search. Teams are working through difficult terrain using tracking dogs, drones, and other technological equipment to locate him.
In a separate incident in the Köyceğiz district of Muğla, 73-year-old Ahmet Kestek has been missing since the evening of September 8. Search efforts for Kestek involve the Gendarmerie, police, AFAD, and civil society organizations, utilizing both ground teams and aerial drones.
