Yukatel Denizli Basket coach evaluates loss to Trabzonspor

Yukatel Denizli Basket head coach Zafer Aktaş analyzed the team's recent performance following their match against Trabzonspor. Aktaş noted that a significant drop in both defensive energy and offensive efficiency during the second period allowed Trabzonspor, a team with a high budget and deep roster, to seize the momentum of the game.

Despite making two successful comebacks in the second half, the team was unable to capitalize on critical opportunities to secure the win. Aktaş praised the effort and fighting spirit of his players and staff while acknowledging the difficulty of the current circumstances.

The team is now preparing for a demanding schedule that includes both domestic league matches and European competition. Denizli Basket is set to face Lions de Genve of Switzerland in an away game for the FIBA Europe Cup G Group on October 21. This will be followed by a league away match on October 24, a trip to Baku to face Landau Lions on October 28, and a home game against Galatasaray MCT Technic on October 31.
