Denizli exports rise 9.8% to $448 million in August
Denizli's export sector demonstrated growth in August, reaching $448 million, a 9.8% increase compared to the same period last year. This performance maintains Denizli's position as Turkey's seventh-largest exporter. Key sectors driving this growth include textiles and apparel ($128 million), electrical and electronics ($116 million), and metals ($79 million). Major export destinations saw increases, notably the United Kingdom (+54%), the United States (+33.1%), and France (+18.3%).
To support continued industrial expansion, the Denizli Exporters' Association (DENİB) organized an investment financing and international banking meeting in collaboration with AKA Bank and Euler Hermes. The event focused on international financing models, long-term investment loans, and access to global capital. DENİB President Osman Uğurlu highlighted that Denizli's annual export volume has reached $4.971 billion across 185 countries, emphasizing the city's ability to reinvest earnings into production and capacity increases.
