Denizli fuel station fire injures one worker
A fire broke out at a fuel station in the Pamukkale district of Denizli, Turkey, during fuel unloading operations. The blaze originated in one tanker and quickly spread to another nearby tanker.
One station employee, identified as Mehmet C., sustained burns during the incident. He received initial medical attention at the scene before being transported to Pamukkale University Hospital. Reports indicate that his condition is not life-threatening.
Preliminary investigations suggest the fire may have been caused by a spark when a valve was dropped onto the concrete ground during the transfer process. One tanker was completely destroyed, while the other sustained damage to its cabin. An investigation into the exact cause of the fire is ongoing.
