Denizli leblebi set for global export push

A project to launch Denizli leblebi onto international markets was presented at a coordination meeting hosted by the Denizli Chamber of Commerce. Chamber President İbrahim Tefenlili, DENİB head Osman Uğurlu, the heads of the Denizli Trade and Industry Chambers (Uğur Erdoğan and Selim Kasapoğlu) and producer representative İbrahim Kaplan outlined a roadmap for exporters.

Key actions include training and consultancy for producers, participation in overseas trade fairs, meetings with foreign buying delegations, and promotion of the geographically‑protected Denizli leblebi brand. The chambers also highlighted support from the Model Factory initiative to improve production efficiency and competitiveness.

The initiative aims to open new target markets, increase export capacity and strengthen the regional snack’s brand value worldwide.
