Denizli Metropolitan Municipality extends student transportation support

The Denizli Metropolitan Municipality has entered the second year of its Transportation Support Project, an initiative designed to promote educational equality and alleviate the financial burden on families.

Coordinated by the Department of Social Services, the program provides students residing in the Pamukkale and Merkezefendi districts with 44 free bus rides per month. Eligible participants include middle school, high school, and vocational training (MESEM) students, as well as those graduating high school in 2026 who are attending private tutoring centers.

Mayor Bülent Nuri Çavuşoğlu noted that the project originated from direct requests made by high school students during public meetings. He emphasized that the municipality aims to distribute city resources fairly to support the youth, describing education-related support as a vital investment in the city's future. Applications for the project remain open until the end of the current academic year.
