Denizli Metropolitan Municipality football tournament concludes

The Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Inter-Departmental Football Tournament has concluded after a 50-day competition. Organized to strengthen social cohesion and unity among municipal employees, the event involved approximately 450 staff members across 30 different teams.

In the championship match, the Social Services Department Presidency faced off against the Support Services Department Presidency. The Social Services Department Presidency ultimately secured the championship title. The third-place match featured a contest between the Fire Warriors and the Fire Central Intervention teams.

During the final ceremony, Mayor Bülent Nuri Çavuşoğlu emphasized that the primary goal of the tournament was not winning, but rather fostering friendship and togetherness. He noted that the event served as a way for colleagues to bond and highlighted the importance of sports in bringing people together.
