Denizli Metropolitan Municipality renovates sports facilities

Denizli Metropolitan Municipality has completed extensive renovations of sports facilities in the Kınıklı and İlbade neighborhoods to strengthen the city's sports infrastructure.

The Kınıklı sports facility now features a 90x60 meter synthetic turf field meeting FIFA Quality standards with 55 mm turf. The upgrade includes modern lighting via four 20-meter high floodlight poles, new goalposts, player benches, and a 400-meter walking path designed to promote healthy living among residents. The use of synthetic turf is intended to reduce water consumption.

The İlbade football field has also been modernized, featuring 6,233 square meters of FIFA Quality standard synthetic turf. Improvements include a 400-meter spray-coated walking path meeting athletics track standards, new tribune seating, corner flags, and goalposts. Additionally, 243.75 square meters of rubber grass coating was installed around the field to enhance safety for users.
