Denizli: Multi-vehicle accident leaves two drivers injured
A multi-vehicle chain reaction accident occurred in the Pamukkale district of Denizli on Cafer Sadık Abalıoğlu Boulevard. The incident involved a semi-truck waiting at a traffic light and two pickup trucks.
According to reports, a pickup truck struck another pickup truck that was stopped behind a semi-truck at a red light. The force of the collision caused the striking vehicle to hit the truck in front of it.
Firefighters worked for approximately two hours to extricate drivers trapped in the wreckage. Erhan Yelin was rescued and transported to a hospital by ambulance. Another driver, Mehmet Kızılkaya, required a prolonged two-hour rescue operation before being stabilized and sent to the hospital. Traffic flow returned to normal after the damaged vehicles were removed from the scene. An investigation into the causes of the accident has been launched.
