Denizli Municipality completes major road projects in Baklan and Kale
Denizli Metropolitan Municipality has completed several significant road infrastructure projects in the Baklan and Kale districts to improve regional transportation and support agricultural activities.
In the Baklan district, the 3.5-kilometer road in the Boğaziçi neighborhood has been fully renovated. The project involved widening the route to approximately 8.5 meters and utilizing 10,700 tons of plant mix base (PMT) material to ensure a durable foundation and improved driving comfort. The renovation aims to facilitate both daily commuting and local agricultural logistics.
Additionally, a 14-kilometer road in the Kale district, known as the Gülbağlık road, has been opened to traffic following a completion ceremony in the Çamlarca neighborhood. Mayor Bülent Nuri Çavuşoğlu stated that the municipality is committed to providing fair service to all parts of the city and supporting local producers through infrastructure improvements. The new route replaces a narrow path that previously caused difficulties for vehicles transporting tobacco and general daily transit.
