Denizli municipality continues free open‑air cinema series through September
The Denizli Metropolitan Municipality, under its “Sanat Şehri Denizli” (Art City Denizli) motto, is running a series of free open‑air cinema evenings at the Ziya Tıkıroğlu Open‑Air Theatre. The program, running until September, showcases a mix of classic Yeşilçam titles, contemporary Turkish films and international dramas, with daily selections such as “Entelköy Efeköy’e Karşı,” “Eşkıya,” and “7. Koğuştaki Mucize.”
All screenings are ticket‑free for viewers aged seven and older, with tickets obtained via the municipality’s e‑ticket portal. Attendees receive complimentary popcorn and soda, and Mayor Bülent Nuri Çavuşoğlu has personally attended several showings, including the recent screening of “Bizi Hatırla.” The initiative has drawn thousands of residents, who report high demand and enthusiastic participation.
The municipality plans to continue the schedule with additional titles through early September, aiming to enrich Denizli’s cultural life and provide accessible entertainment for the community.
