Denizli Water Authority builds over 243 km of water and sewer lines in first half of 2026
The Denizli Metropolitan Municipality’s Water and Sewerage Administration (DESKİ) reported that between January and June 2026 it laid a total of 210,764 m of drinking‑water pipelines, 21,901 m of sewer mains and 10,634 m of storm‑water conduits, creating more than 243 km of new infrastructure.
Key sub‑projects included the Investment and Construction Directorate’s installation of 108,308 m of drinking‑water pipe, activation of 15 new water sources, and the construction of six modern water reservoirs and three logistics centres to boost the city’s supply capacity to 102 L/s. The efforts were described as a major step toward reducing service interruptions and strengthening Denizli’s resilience.
