Czech regions present weekly newborn photo galleries and voting contest

Deník newspapers in three Czech regions – Vysočina, South Bohemia and Olomouc – have released photo galleries of babies born in the 23rd week of 2026. Parents can submit photographs with a signed consent form to the address miminka@vlmedia.cz, after which the images appear in a dedicated online section and in the printed edition.

The galleries are part of a weekly "most sympathetic baby" poll. Readers vote for their favourite infant; the weekly winner advances to a monthly contest, and the monthly champion proceeds to a national finals competition for the title "Baby of the Month". The voting platform is open to all registered users and is intended to be fair and transparent.
