Denmark selects road cycling squad for 2026 World Championships

The Danish Cycling Union has announced the national team selection for the 2026 Road Cycling World Championships in Canada. Mads Pedersen and Mattias Skjelmose will serve as captains for the men's road race.

The men's road race squad includes Kasper Asgreen, Mikkel Bjerg, Andreas Kron, Michael Valgren, Mikkel Honoré, and Søren Kragh Andersen. For the individual time trial, Denmark will be represented by Mikkel Bjerg and Kasper Asgreen.

In the women's category, Cecilie Uttrup Ludwig and Solbjørk Minke Anderson will compete in the road race, though Denmark will not participate in the women's elite time trial. The selection also includes representatives for the U23 classes, such as Kristian Egholm and Mads Landbo.
