Denmark defeats Wales 1-0 in Nations League fixture

In UEFA Nations League action, Denmark secured a 1-0 away victory against Wales in Cardiff. The decisive moment occurred in the 75th minute when Rasmus Højlund converted a penalty following a mistake by Welsh goalkeeper Danny Ward, who miskicked a pass and collided with Gustav Isaksen.

Despite the error, Ward had performed several significant saves earlier in the match to keep the score level. Denmark's captain Pierre-Emile Højbjerg was forced off due to injury early in the game, but the visitors maintained control to secure the three points. This result leaves Wales in danger of relegation from Division A.

In other Nations League fixtures, Northern Ireland maintained their position at the top of League B Group 2 following a 0-0 draw against Georgia at Windsor Park. Meanwhile, France secured a 4-1 victory over Belgium, and Italy defeated Türkiye 3-1 in League A action.
