Denmark culinary awards recognize top butcher and canteen teams

Several culinary awards were presented at the Landbrug & Fødevarer Food Day. Lars Olesen from Fru Møller Slagteren in Odder won the 2026 Butcher and Delicatessen Prize in the private butcher category, recognized for craftsmanship and innovation.

In the canteen category, the Kantinepris 2026 was awarded to head chef Lars Jensen and his team at Søstrene Grene, Kantinen i Taghaven. The jury highlighted the team's focus on organic ingredients, sustainability, and seasonal produce, noting their ability to maintain high gastronomic standards within a busy canteen environment.
