Denmark culinary updates: Tversted restaurant closes as Aarhus Festuge approaches
Culinary activities are highlighted across Denmark, featuring both the conclusion of a seasonal restaurant and upcoming festival events. In Tversted, the seasonal restaurant Camillos Køkken at Lykkegaard has closed after a seven-week run. The establishment, which focused on Italian-inspired cuisine, fish, and green dishes, is transitioning its operations back to a home kitchen in Copenhagen.
In Aarhus, the Aarhus Festuge festival will feature a collaborative culinary initiative called ‘Livet i Aarhus’. Gastronomic venues including Nicolinehus, Banken Foodhall, and Pakhus77 will share a kitchen at Ridehuset for ten days. The program includes long-table dinners, such as a collaboration with the French-inspired Bouchon, as well as comedy performances and community events like AGF-bingo.
