Denmark electricity prices expected to hit near zero on Saturday

Electricity prices in Denmark are expected to drop significantly this Saturday. According to the energy company OK, the net electricity price will hover near zero kroner for much of the day.

Market Director Kenneth Korsgaard noted that high wind power production is driving these low costs, making it an ideal time for activities such as charging electric vehicles. From 3:00 AM until 6:00 PM on Saturday, prices in both West and East Denmark are projected to range between minus one øre and eight øre per kilowatt-hour, including VAT.
