Denmark expects high temperatures and extreme fire risk

Denmark is expecting a warm summer day on Friday, with temperatures in many areas expected to exceed 30 degrees Celsius. Some regions, particularly in Jutland, may see temperatures reaching up to 32 degrees.

Due to the heat, the Danish Emergency Management Agency has issued warnings regarding fire danger. In much of central and western Jutland, the fire risk is classified as ‘very high’ or ‘extremely high’. Authorities are advising the public to avoid fires in nature and to remain vigilant regarding local burning bans, noting that even a small spark can trigger an unwanted fire.
