Denmark: Liberal Alliance warns against undermining Green Tripartite

Peter Larsen of Liberal Alliance has issued a warning regarding the implementation of the Green Tripartite agreement in Denmark. He cautioned that central government actions in Christiansborg must not undermine the work being conducted by local stakeholders and farmers.

Larsen emphasized that the success of the agreement relies on trust in local actors and the ability of those on the ground to implement practical solutions. He expressed concern that certain political factions might favor closing Danish agricultural production rather than modernizing it to balance food production with environmental and nature preservation. He noted that a decline in agriculture would negatively impact various sectors, including transport, craftsmanship, and food companies, as well as local communities.
