Denmark mobility campaign promotes sustainable school travel

The 'På Egne Ben' mobility campaign is launching in Denmark on September 2 to promote sustainable transport habits and independence among children. Supported by Region Midtjylland, Region Nordjylland, Midttrafik, and NT, the initiative encourages families to walk, cycle, or use public transport instead of driving to school.

This year's campaign features 96 participating classes across several municipalities, including Herning, Aarhus, Randers, Ringkøbing-Skjern, Aalborg, and Jammerbugt. The competition will last for five weeks, with classes competing for prize money for their school funds through a points-based system based on their travel choices.
