Denmark opens Working Holiday visa applications for Argentines
Denmark has opened applications for its 2026 Working Holiday program, specifically targeting Argentine citizens between the ages of 18 and 30. The program offers 150 annual slots, which are allocated based on the order of registration.
Under this visa, participants can reside in Denmark for up to 12 months. The permit allows for legal employment for a maximum of nine months and permits enrollment in Danish language courses for up to six months. Applicants must demonstrate habitual residence in Argentina, possess a valid passport, and show sufficient economic funds—approximately 15,000 Danish kroner (roughly USD 2,300).
Additional requirements include obtaining twelve months of medical insurance and providing proof of a return ticket or sufficient funds to purchase one. The application process involves online management through the Danish Agency for International Recruitment and Integration (SIRI) followed by an in-person documentation presentation. For Argentine applicants, this may be managed from Argentina or Santiago, Chile.
