Denmark police arrest five for Snapchat cocaine trade
On 25 June 2026, Denmark’s Operative Special Investigation unit carried out coordinated raids in the Aalborg area and Nørresundby, arresting five people aged 19 to 30 on suspicion of selling cocaine. Investigators said the drug transactions were conducted primarily through the social‑media platform Snapchat. Police commissioner Ulf Munch Sørensen noted that narcotics trafficking is increasingly moving to digital platforms frequented by young users, adding that law‑enforcement must become adept at monitoring online spaces.
The arrested individuals face charges of dealing in e‑drugs, and a constitutional hearing is scheduled at Aalborg Court.
