Denmark police charge youths in murder and arrest intoxicated man after van break‑in

A 16‑year‑old voluntarily went to the police station in Randers, prompting investigators to charge two young men with murder after a 20‑year‑old was found lifeless in the Gudenåen river on Friday morning. Police say the victim was subjected to severe violence, including blows to the head, choking and drowning, and the suspects, aged 16 and 18, deny murder but admit to aggravated assault.

In a separate incident in Herning, police responded to a break‑in of a van on Silkeborgvej, where they discovered a 38‑year‑old man from Kolding asleep inside. He was heavily intoxicated, taken to the station for sobering up and later charged with vandalism, facing a fine.
