Denmark real estate: Major property sales in Copenhagen and Rønne

Significant real estate transactions have occurred in Denmark. In Copenhagen, PensionDanmark has acquired the historic Absalons Gaard property from Savills Investment Management. Located at Rådhuspladsen, the 7,500-square-meter building features offices and retail spaces. While the exact sale price was not disclosed, estimates suggest a value of approximately 500 million DKK.

In Rønne, a 9,000-square-meter industrial plot on Kaj Mogensens Vej 3 was sold following a bidding war. Although the property was valued at 1.5 million DKK, the final sale price reached 2.15 million DKK. The sale follows significant municipal expenditures on archaeological surveys and site preparation, totaling over 700,000 DKK.
