Denmark reports two separate field fires in Skanderborg and Ringkøbing

Two separate field fires were reported in Denmark on Sunday. In Skanderborg Municipality, a large emergency response was dispatched to a field near Gjernvej in Låsby after a baler caught fire around 7:45 PM. The response included an incident commander, an ambulance, two spray trucks, and two tank trucks. The fire did not spread to the surrounding unpressed straw.

In a separate incident near Ringkøbing, a field fire involving approximately 200 square meters of stubble occurred on Sunday morning. The fire was caused by a hot catalytic converter on an old car that became stuck in the field, igniting the straw. No injuries were reported, and the fire was quickly brought under control due to calm wind conditions.
