Denmark road accidents: car plunges into ditch and speed‑trap warnings

A single car drove off the road into a ditch on Route 9 between Nakskov and Vesterborg. Police patrol chief Jannick Hallø confirmed an ambulance was dispatched, but the occupant’s condition was not yet known.

At the same time, the Danish Road Directorate warned drivers of smoke developing in the central reservation of the E45 near Kolding, prompting a fire‑service response. Authorities also reported that over 26 motorists were caught in a speed‑trap operation on the same motorway network.
