Denmark study shows local variations in children's sports participation
A new study conducted by Danmark i Bevægelse at the University of Southern Denmark reveals significant local variations in how frequently children participate in club activities across Denmark.
While the national average for children aged three to 14 participating in a club at least once a month is approximately 73 percent, participation rates fluctuate widely by municipality. For instance, Allerød reports rates as high as 82 percent, while Brøndby sits at 58 percent. In Stevns Municipality, the engagement rate is recorded at 76 percent.
