Denmark to compete in WorldSkills 2026 in Shanghai

Denmark will be represented by several skilled professionals at the WorldSkills 2026 competition, scheduled to take place in Shanghai from September 22 to 27. The event brings together approximately 1,400 young people from over 60 countries to compete across 64 different disciplines.

Among the Danish participants is Lars Corneliussen, a reigning national champion in carpentry. Supported by sponsor Bygma, Corneliussen will compete in the Carpentry discipline, focusing on technical skill and precision under time pressure.

Additionally, Linnea Lind Lehner, a service apprentice from Slagelse, has qualified for the national skills team following her victory at the 2026 Danish Skills championship. She will compete in service-related tasks, including wine presentation, table setting, and guest relations.
