Denmark reports light rail collision and police moped pursuit
Several traffic incidents have been reported across Denmark. In Lyngby, a car collided with a light rail train at the intersection of Nybrovej and Buddingevej, likely after the driver ran a red light. The driver sustained minor injuries, though the collision damaged a traffic light.
In Skanderborg, police were involved in a collision with an 18-year-old moped rider in front of an HHX school. The rider, who was attempting to flee police on a tuned moped traveling at approximately 70 km/h, was brought to a stop and handcuffed. The Danish Independent Police Complaints Authority (DUP) is investigating the incident. No serious injuries were reported.
